After joining Goldman Sachs early in his career in 1998 then putting in a stint at UBS, where he was a managing director and founding member of the Swiss bank’s global family office group, Darren Allaway returned to Goldman in 2019 to head EMEA client relationships at Apex, the firm’s dedicated family office coverage team. Given his experience advising international single- and multi-family offices in structured finance transactions as well as portfolio and investment decisions, it’s natural territory for the seasoned adviser.

With dedicated coverage of around 500 families globally, Apex is focused on differentiated investment content, with a stated focus on ‘bespoke private transactions and investment opportunities’.
