Since his promotion to partner in 2019, Ben Hobbs continues to break new ground at Schillings’ international practice.

He applied for and obtained a training contract at the firm in 2008 after learning of the firm’s reputation. ‘When I talked to people about media law, Keith Schilling’s name repeatedly arose,’ he says. ‘From then, there was only ever one firm I wanted to work at.’

Hobbs advises a rich mix of clientele – including hedge funds, CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs and public figures – often through their general counsel or family office.

‘They want to show their principal that they are on top of everything, have considered all risks and have the right specialists on board. If I can help make them look good, I’m happy.’
