Schillings partner Joelle Rich has more than a decade of expertise in the field of privacy, libel and media law, and has taken a lead role on some of the biggest media law cases of recent years.
Rich, who was shortlisted for the Future Leader in Private Client Services Award at the 2021 Spear’s Awards, frequently assists UHNW families and figures in the public eye with issues around privacy and defamation. ‘What I do is curate tailored plans for clients to mitigate existing damage to their reputations or unwanted intrusion into their families’ privacy, but also build future plans in a way which is going to be tied to a clear digital and communication strategy,’ she tells Spear’s.
She is particularly adept at helping clients with risks relating to social media. ‘It’s about making sure that their stakeholders see them through an accurate lens,’ she says.
