Juliet Young, partner and reputation manager at Schillings, specialises in business and personal investigations, working with lawyers and communications advisers to find the right information to protect her clients. Often acting for clients targeted by smear campaigns, her approach ‘blends the latest intelligence tools, legal disclosure and robust comms strategies’. 

She has over two decades of experience in investigations, having spent time at Kroll and Control Risks, and was a secondee at the government’s Serious Fraud Office. She joined Schillings in 2015 as head of intelligence and became a full partner in 2019.

The firm tells Spear's that Young has spearheaded the creation of a database of junk news sites. Due to launch in spring 2025, the database draws ‘actionable intelligence’ to better support clients during disputes.
