Lockwood also advises onshore and offshore trusts in relation to corporate reorganisation and tax-efficient structures. ‘We have been implementing exit-planning strategies to reduce tax, and advising on exposure to corporate tax,’ he notes. 

A member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the seasoned adviser has been working for Evelyn since 1988. Clients have included the trustees of a discretionary trust worth over £500 million, for whom Lockwood provided advice on inheritance tax.
