A director in S&W’s private client tax services team, Joe Johnson advises his HNW clientele on all aspects of their tax affairs, helping them navigate the UK tax system.

Johnson most frequently works with international HNW individuals and families – namely UK resident but non-UK domiciled individuals, in addition to international families investing into the UK. Clients also include private equity executives and family offices; Johnson has experience advising them as to their exposure to capital gains tax and inheritance tax.

And should HMRC ever inquire, he is able to help to resolve these often-complex inquiries ‘with positive outcomes’.

A chartered tax adviser and chartered accountant, Johnson spent time at Deloitte, PwC and Evelyn Partners.
