Jessica Crane is an executive director in the private investment office of W1M, the business formed from the 2024 merger of Waverton Investment Management and London & Capital. Here she looks after the investments of HNW private clients, including a significant number of women, and trustees.
‘My principal aim is to enable my clients to feel confident about their financial future,’ she says. ‘A number of my clients come to me with minimal previous experience of investment matters, so my goal is often to educate as well as advise so they feel empowered and positive for the future.’
Crane, who is a fluent French and Italian speaker, joined the boutique firm in 2007 after stints at Merrill Lynch and KPMG. Her specialism in offshore trusts means she oversees the firm’s relationships with trust companies, often visiting the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
