The 2025 merger of London & Capital (L&C) and Waverton Investment Management created W1M, a formidable force in the wealth management space. 

The company has a combined £22 billion in AuM and serves UHNW and HNW clients across the globe, with Guy McGlashan at its helm. McGlashan, who had served as CEO of L&C since 2019, has overseen the recent changes and is now responsible for directing the firm’s overall growth strategy.

With extensive experience in the wealth management space, including an early stint as an investment banker at UBS’s Zurich office, McGlashan is well equipped to integrate L&C’s UHNW and North American client base with Waverton’s international investment capabilities.
