Mary Haly is an accomplished portfolio manager who has over three decades of experience in the financial services industry. She previously worked for Coutts, and joined Waverton Investment Management – now W1M following the 2024 merger of Waverton and London & Capital – in 2018. In her current role, she looks after a variety of clients, including entrepreneurs, divorcées, trusts and charities, and has grown the value of her book to £300 million.

Named HNW Wealth Manager of the Year at the 2021 Spear’s Awards, Haly attributes much of her success to the quality of client relationships she has built over time. ‘We’re very focused on clients,’ she says. ‘They are treated individually and they really love that – they get a lot of attention.’

It is a philosophy that clients clearly value. ‘Our clients are very happy,’ she says. ‘They often recommend us to their friends and family, which is why we don’t need to advertise.’
