Mary Haly is an accomplished portfolio manager who has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She previously worked for Coutts and joined Waverton Investment Management – now W1M following the 2024 merger of Waverton and London & Capital – in 2018. In her current role, she looks after a variety of clients, including entrepreneurs, divorcées, trusts and charities, and has grown the value of her book to £300 million.

Named HNW Wealth Manager of the Year at the 2021 Spear’s Awards, she says that she enjoys both the intellectual challenge of investing in individual companies and dealing with clients that come from all walks of life. ‘Our clients are very happy,’ she says. ‘They often recommend us to their friends and family, which is why we don’t need to advertise.’
