Schillings partner Ben Hobbs advises a rich mix of clients – including hedge funds, CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs and public figures – on reputational crises and opportunities, often via their general counsel or family office. ‘Clients come to us for anything where their reputations, their privacy or their security are under threat, or where there are opportunities that they want to take,’ Hobbs tells Spear’s.

Hobbs joined Schillings as a trainee in 2008 and has witnessed the firm’s impressive growth and the expansion of its complementary practice areas, which enables a considered and hardy response. ‘The law has certain jurisdictional bounds; reputation doesn’t,’ he says.

Hobbs splits his time between London and Dublin, and is qualified to practice in both English and Welsh, and Irish jurisdictions.
