As head of UK immigration at Boodle Hatfield, Zoe Jacob works on complex cases for a variety of HNW clients. She has advised sportspeople, tech founders, Hollywood stars and private equity investors, to name but a few, and is highly experienced in nationality law, EEA immigration rules and human rights law.
Jacob notes that immigration pathways into the UK have been tightened by the Home Office in recent years: ‘It’s become tougher in a lot of ways,’ she tells Spear’s. Adapting to these evolving requirements, she finds practical solutions in complex – and even unconventional – situations, and her approach includes everything from strategic planning around relocation all the way to settlement and naturalisation.
‘I work with clients to understand how they want to be in the UK and then put the immigration piece into a larger goals-based model,’ she says.
