Zoe Jacob tells Spear’s that she is ‘a barrister by background’. 

Having worked at firms including Farrer and Withers, she has significant experience in advising high-net-worth individuals in matters relating to UK immigration and nationality law, EEA immigration rules and human rights. 

In her previous roles, she was frequently instructed by the Home Office. ‘It gave me an interesting start in immigration,’ she says. It has proven especially useful for her current clients – some of whom might be facing off against the Home Office. ‘I’m able to understand things from the other side,’ she explains. 

Jacob has been leading Boodle Hatfield’s UK immigration practice since 2023 and says that she – alongside her expanding team – is committed to delivering ‘bespoke solutions’. She adds: ‘UK immigration is just one piece of the puzzle.’
