Richard Elliott, a partner at Boodle Hatfield, acts on a range of corporate and commercial transactions for entrepreneurs, HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, owner-managed companies and family businesses.
From M&A and joint ventures to corporate finance, real estate finance and structuring, his practice often crosses borders, and he has experience working with clients in the Middle East, Scandinavia, the US and Australia.
He has also developed a specialism in luxury asset finance – what he calls an ‘inevitable’ evolution in his work with HNW clients – and advises on the structuring and financing of aircraft and superyachts, supercars and art collections.
Elliott tells Spear’s: ‘There are two things that are fundamental to working with clients like this. One is being available and being quick to respond ... but, secondly, it’s absolutely confidentiality.’
