Nicola Bushby, a London-based partner in Boodle Hatfield’s private wealth disputes team, explains to Spear’s that she specialises ‘in trust and estate litigation for HNW and UHNW individuals and families’. 

Bushby frequently advises individuals on claims for breach of trust, family disputes relating to estates and trusts, and will disputes (including challenges on grounds of mental incapacity and undue influence). Given the international nature of many HNW families, her cases frequently involve multiple jurisdictions and recovering money held offshore.

She is particularly experienced at dealing with the dynamics of family disputes and is highly competent when it comes to untangling the most difficult and challenging of cases.
