Having previously headed the inheritance and trust disputes team at Stephens Scown, Charisse Crawford joined Trowers & Hamlins in 2021 with the aim of strengthening the firm’s private wealth offering. As part of Trowers’  dispute resolution and litigation team in Exeter, as well as the firm’s private wealth team, she regularly advises HNW clients and families, including entrepreneurs and landed families.

Crawford specialises in private wealth disputes and contentious asset protection cases – including trust disputes, disputes around the removal of trustees or executors, financial abuse claims and claims against estates (including will validity claims). 

‘She brings a vast wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team and will play a key role in the firm’s growth and development,’ Trowers’ head of commercial litigation said upon Crawford’s appointment.
