As a partner in Trowers & Hamlins’ dispute resolution team, Helen Briant specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration, frequently advising on disputes relating to reputation management (often in high-profile cases), cybersecurity and the administration of trusts.

In terms of the latter, she has significant experience in dealing with complex and sensitive disputes emanating from private wealth, investments and estates. Clients include HNW individuals, business owners, trustees and executors.

Briant’s work usually has a cross-border element and sometimes involves allegations of fraud and dishonesty. She told Spear’s that she prides herself on taking a commercially driven and practical approach to even the most sensitive cases. Outside of her practice, she frequently presents webinars and speaks at conferences on the subjects of risk management and fraud prevention.
