Guy McGlashan joined London & Capital in 2015 as chief operating officer, becoming the wealth and asset manager’s CEO four years later.

Responsible for the firm’s overall strategic direction and growth, and with extensive experience in the wealth management space, McGlashan helped to oversee London & Capital’s 2024 merger with Waverton. The new business, L&C Waverton, will have an estimated £19 billion in assets under management and serve a range of clients, including UHNW families in the UK and overseas. 

Upon the completion of the merger, McGlashan said: ‘Looking ahead to the coming months, we will continue to work towards a comprehensive integration, supported by our shared values, client-focused cultures and entrepreneurial spirit,’ adding that the firms are ‘prioritising collaboration’.
