Spear’s Review 

Professor Ronak Rajani assists patients with a range of cardiac conditions, including mitral valve disease, heart failure and inherited conditions. He sees patients at HCA Healthcare’s Harley Street Clinic, where he advises on overall cardiac risk and options for treatment, including structural heart interventions. 

A professor in cardiovascular imaging at King’s College London, Rajani supervises PhD students and has authored more than 200 manuscripts around cardiology. As well as serving as the chairperson of HCA Healthcare UK’s cardiac imaging stream, Rajani has also sat on a clinical advisory group for NHS England and is a representative of the Royal College of Physicians and British Cardiovascular Society for South East London.

Rajani, who founded the UK’s first dedicated training service for structural heart disease imaging, trained as a medic at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London and at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
