Consultant cardiologist Professor Gerald Carr-White practices at HCA Healthcare’s cardiac clinic at London Bridge Hospital. Here he sees patients with a range of heart-related concerns, specialising in inherited cardiac diseases, valvular heart disease, chest pain and heart failure.

After qualifying from St George’s Hospital, Carr-White trained in general medicine and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1996. He obtained his PhD in 2000, achieving his higher certification in cardiology and general medicine six years later.

Appointed as a consultant cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in 2006, Carr-White continues to work as deputy medical director of the cardiovascular, respiratory and critical care units at the hospitals, and lectures nationally and internationally as a professor at King’s College London.
