Simran Khanna joined Citi in 2011 and at one point was one of its youngest private bankers. She credits her success to her ability to help clients beyond their pure private banking needs. 

‘Sometimes, my clients are looking for an overall solution for their business as well as personal family matters.’ 

She says that as a wealth manager, ‘a very important aspect of our job is to listen to what our clients need the most’. This approach proved effective when, at the age of only 29, she was involved in the successful execution of a large commercial real estate transaction for an UHNW family in collaboration with Citi’s institutional business. 

Khanna recognises the bank’s role in contributing to her success and tells Spear’s that her growth ‘can be attributed to Citi’s nurturing culture along with the people I have worked with over the years’.
