Vaibhav Sharma is a managing director at Citi and leads the bank’s UK segment focused on servicing the South Asian diaspora. He joined the company as a senior private banker in 2010 and was promoted to his current position in 2020.
Prior to Citi, the Delhi-born banker held senior roles at Standard Chartered Private Bank – where he was a director of the UK non-resident Indian private banking team – and ICICI. With two decades of experience in financial services, Sharma has developed a specialism in looking after entrepreneurial clients and families with global interests.
He tells Spear’s that he runs a significant book that is growing organically year on year.
