Louise Hartley, managing director and senior team leader at Citi Private Bank, is the most senior female banker in the UK team, with more than two decades’ experience in the industry. Hartley joined Citi in 2007; she currently leads a team of private bankers while managing a book of global UHNW clients, with whom she’s developed strong long-term relationships.

According to Citi, her clients describe her as ‘responsive, thoughtful and knowledgeable’, and she prides herself on always ‘taking the long view’, working closely with families to understand their multi-generational needs.

Hartley is passionate about improving diversity in banking and finance, and co-founded the EMEA women’s network within the private bank to help nurture this diverse talent as well as increase engagement with female prospects and clients.
