Specialising in home decor and interior design, Andrew Martin was founded by designer Martin Waller in 1978, and since 1987 has operated from a showroom on Walton Street in Chelsea.

The firm’s characterful designs reflect a rich mix of cultures and influences from across the world, and its furniture, fabrics, wallpaper and rugs are a ‘kaleidoscope of customs and crafts’. Property developers, private residential clients and hotels seek out Andrew Martin to create ‘spaces that tell a story’.

In 1996, Waller started the annual Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award, which celebrates the most talented interior designers from around the world. Past winners include Kelly Hoppen, Anouska Hempel, Matthew Williamson and Rabih Hage.
