Sasha Erskine, a partner at Winston Taylor, advises (U)HNWs and their families on a broad range of tax structuring and succession planning matters. ‘I enjoy problem solving. I like to listen to clients to understand what it is actually that really is their concern,’ he tells Spear’s.
His key areas of focus include transparency – ensuring compliance across jurisdictions while maintaining client privacy – and international relocation planning.
‘The firm has a focus on private wealth, but also a tradition of dealing with tech and entrepreneurial clients,’ he explains. ‘I have a focus on clients from East Asia as well, so we travel [there] a couple of times a year and coordinate the team in the region.’
Erskine also notes that many clients are looking to invest in property or send their children to school in the UK, and he advises on the tax and residency implications of such moves.
