Caroline Tayler is a partner in the private client team at Winston Taylor, the firm formed from the merger of Winston & Strawn and Taylor Wessing in 2026. 

Known for her deft handling of complex, cross-border trust and succession disputes, her practice spans everything from contested probate and professional negligence in tax and trust planning to the most intricate breach of trust cases involving fraud, asset tracing and the rights of beneficiaries.

Her work frequently crosses jurisdictions – from the UK to the BVI, the Bahamas and Bermuda – and she is renowned for her calm authority in cases involving variations, compromises and trustee applications for court approval. A recent career highlight was her victory before the Privy Council for Grampian Trust Company, in what has been described as the largest trust dispute ever litigated in the Bahamas.
