Since joining Elaine Dobson’s residential property team at Taylor Wessing in 2018, Rachel George has developed a reputation for handling high-value property matters, particularly those involving enfranchisement.
The senior counsel also works closely with the commercial property team to draft the documentation required for developers of branded residences, and manages a range of real estate needs, including site set up, new-build structuring, conveyancing, lease agreements and property purchases.
Access to Taylor Wessing’s wider private client team is a key benefit for George and her clients. ‘We’re really lucky to have a broad team behind us,’ she tells Spear’s. ‘We can bring in assistance for clients if they are moving to the UK and have not done the process before. Maybe they have tax issues; we’ve got colleagues that can help with that.’
