Spear’s Review
Marcus O’Brien headed up Beauchamp Estates’ formidable private office team before moving to Sotheby’s International Realty in late 2023 and launching the firm’s family office department.
The former Spear’s Awards finalist for Property Broker of the Year explains that the department provides ‘senior-level expertise and a comprehensive understanding of global luxury markets, allowing us to provide a truly exceptional and bespoke service to our esteemed clientele, while unlocking global investment opportunities’.
His experience providing a dedicated service to HNW and UHNW clients buying and selling in prime central London, rural England and internationally have prepared him for Sotheby’s very high-value catalogue.
In 2020, O’Brien worked on the sale of Britain’s most expensive house, 2-8a Rutland Gate in Knightsbridge, and has since bought and sold fine country houses including a 200 acre estate in Surrey for £50 million. He also reports having achieved ‘one of – if not the – highest-value rental deals in UK history’.
