Spear’s Review

Rowland King has been selling homes for more than two decades, becoming head of Chelsea sales at Chestertons in 2016. Since then he has expanded his remit to also now encompass the broad, grand streets of Knightsbridge and Belgravia – as well as Chestertons’ private client offering. 

King’s branch oversees some of the firm’s biggest deals, including the lion’s share of £4 million-plus sales. But he isn’t stopping there. With Chestertons now private-equity-backed, the focus is on growth, and King is targeting increased market share in the private client and prime space. To raise the company’s profile and enhance its reputation among the international UHNW community, he is engaging with trusts, family offices and private client advisers – not to mention a deal with Forbes Global Properties.

At the same time, he tells Spear’s he is ‘very much exposed to clients – I never want to get away from that’.
