She tells Spear’s that the world of work is ‘essentially a very human relationship’, adding that clients’ sense of identity ‘is so bound up by the work [they] do’. ‘The nature of Edwin Coe is such that we don’t usually just deal with the basic unfair dismissal,’ Trott adds. ‘It’s always got to have some extra element, like discrimination, whistleblowing or some complicated share arrangements.’
