Citi banker George Murray, who specialises in looking after UK entrepreneurs with anything between £25 million and ‘several billions’ in net worth, told Spear’s that the firm’s Thursday live webcasts with the CIO and chief economist are in high demand and are ‘extremely well attended’.

‘UHNW clients and family offices want to be in touch more than ever with the house view,’ he said. 

Murray joined Citi in 2010 as a graduate and was ‘rotated across various departments’. He became an investment counsellor for five years, advising clients on asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management, before moving across to become a private banker in 2017. He emphasised that he only works with ‘a small number of clients’ and is proud of the bank’s ‘global and institutional-calibre offering’.
