Promoted to the role of managing director in April 2026, Rothschild & Co wealth manager Katharine Taylor has a long track record of successfully managing the assets of her clients, who include entrepreneurs, media figures and sportspeople.

In all cases, these clients are concerned with wealth protection and preservation.

‘Rothschild & Co is family controlled, and that filters into the DNA of what we do – it puts us in a really strong position to be able to talk to entrepreneurs about business ownership and what that means for multiple generations,’ she tells Spear’s.

While there has been a trend towards investing in private credit over the past few years, Taylor notes that as there is no pressure for her to sell certain investment packages, she can take an objective approach.

‘Fundamentally, our clients keep coming back to us for what we do, which is long-term, real wealth preservation for families,’ she says.
