Laurent Gagnebin is CEO of Rothschild & Co’s wealth management business in Switzerland and a member of the company's global executive committee.

Gagnebin works in tandem with the London team to provide a comprehensive range of banking and wealth management services to some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, families, foundations and charities – around two-thirds of whom are international. 

‘They want to preserve their assets and grow them over time,’ Gagnebin says. This, however, does not prevent clients from accessing private markets: the bank’s alternative assets arm, Five Arrows, where the group and employees co-invest their own assets alongside clients, has more than €29 billion under management. 

At end-2024, Rothschild & Co reported total assets under management of €124 billion (€91 billion in its wealth management division and €33 billion in its asset management division).
