In 2022, Conor McKay made headlines for selling what was then Dubai’s most expensive home for AED 280 million (£52 million) while still in his twenties.

After moving to the Middle East at the age of 19 with a dream of becoming a millionaire, he began his career in the region as a senior broker at Haus & Haus. The Irishman then moved to Belleview Real Estate to sell property in some of Dubai’s most exclusive areas, including Emirates Hills, the Palm Jumeirah and Al Barari.

Today he is an associate director at Sotheby’s International Realty’s Dubai office, continuing to cement his reputation as an expert in Middle East property.

In early 2025, McKay reported that he generated AED 946 million (£43 million) in sales in 2024, representing both buyers and sellers.
