After studying philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, Kapila began his career in wealth management at SG Hambros (later SG Kleinwort Hambros). After a spell at investment advisory firm Berenberg, he moved to Rothschild at the beginning of 2023 to form a team with former colleagues Richard Brass and Becky Orme that focuses on sustainable investment strategy.
