Spear’s Review

HSBC’s Nicholas Dudley-Hammatt has been on Spear’s radar since being shortlisted for the Spear’s Future Leader in Private Client Services Award in 2018. The senior relationship manager began his career on an accountancy graduate scheme before finding his metier on the bank’s global private banking team. 

Dudley-Hammatt offers his HNW clients a thoughtful service. ‘The way relationships are formed in accountancy and private banking is very different,’ he says. ‘People’s dreams and aspirations are incredibly personal [in the latter].’

His speciality is dealing with talents in the ‘Silicon Fen’ around Cambridge and East Anglia. ‘Visiting their environment and finding out what makes them tick is crucial,’ he explains.
