Appointed a silk in 2024, Richard Sear KC of 1 Hare Court represents clients from across the world. 

Called to the Bar in 2005, Sear practises in all areas of private family law, particularly in complex financial cases and jurisdiction disputes. Fitting, then, that he is known for his numeracy and financial acumen – skills that are crucial in defending clients’ assets in court.
