A full-service family lawyer, Broadfield's Anna Stanworth has significant experience of financial remedies, cohabitation disputes and private children law. Areas of specialism include applying for expedited divorce proceedings, issuing a divorce petition under the ‘lock and key’ procedure, and so-called ‘jurisdiction races’ (where parties rush to issue divorce proceedings in different territories).

Her notable financial remedy cases, meanwhile, have involved farming assets, properties abroad, unusual pension arrangements and unvested shares. She also drafts pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements to regulate financial matters during a couple’s relationship.

She deals with complex financial dynastic family estates, domestic and international trusts, international properties, unusual pension arrangements and venture capital assets. One recent case involved assets of over £500m and included trust and charitable entities and investments spread across multiple jurisdictions. Anna works with lawyers, accountants, pension experts, Trust advisors and Family Offices, both in the UK and internationally. Anna also drafts prenup agreements for UHNWIs, and is involved in complex children cases and international issues, including applications to permanently move abroad with a child.
