Spencer West was founded by City of London lawyers Simeon Spencer and Antoine West; Spencer launched the firm in 2010 and later teamed up with West. Since then, the firm has developed its practice in London, across the UK and internationally. 

As a full-service firm, Spencer West has a presence in 17 jurisdictions and operates across 34 practice areas, including real estate and real estate finance, family, immigration and employment law. It operates on a fee-sharing model, whereby lawyers practice as self-employed consultants of the firm, which Spencer West says affords partners ‘a level of autonomy and flexibility that is unparalleled in traditional law firms’.

Clients include HNW and UHNW individuals and investors, businesses and corporates, and major financial institutions.
