Described by his firm as a dedicated lawyer ‘willing to go the extra mile to complete a transaction’, Michael Morris is a partner at Spencer West in Guernsey. He joined the firm in 2023, having previously been head of Collas Crill’s UK property team.

Morris, who is part of the firm’s real estate and real estate finance team, specialises in acting for HNWs and offshore investors, funds, property firms and major financial institutions on their UK-based sales and acquisitions of prime residential and commercial property and country estates (not to mention the acquisition of ‘trophy’ properties and hotels), both directly and via offshore trusts.

He also has expertise in the relationship between landlords and tenants, regularly acting for landlords, institutions and tenants.
