Bandish Gudka, a partner at LGT Wealth Management who has been with the firm since 2010, reveals that 100 per cent of his clients have come from recommendations. ‘It’s been affirming, particularly when markets have been pretty volatile,’ he said. ‘It’s nice to know I’m doing something right.’ 

Gudka adds value as a trusted adviser, alongside his duties as investment manager and firm partner. ‘I see it as an extension,’ he told Spear’s. ‘I take the time to develop what I hope will be a deep relationship with clients.’

He added that he’s managed to avoid much of the market volatility that has shaken up investment houses over the past few years. ‘What kept me in good stead was investing in quality assets and knowing that interim volatility is always going to be there, but these portfolios are built for long-term investment.’
