Spear’s Review

In June 2025, Maricé Brown was announced as J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s new region head for the UK, Channel Islands and Ireland.

Previously managing director and market manager for the bank’s Mexico operations, she succeeds Oliver Gregson, who departed for asset management giant Schroders earlier in 2025.

In her nearly two decades at the private bank, Brown has held various leadership roles focused on Latin America, primarily advising entrepreneurs and CEOs on first-generation wealth and succession planning.

She will relocate to the London office, where she will oversee the day-to-day business of the private bank. In addition, she will be responsible for expanding its UHNW services throughout the UK – including major regional investments into its Northern English and Scottish operations.

Her appointment comes at a time when several UK wealth management firms are undergoing notable changes in senior leadership.
