Oliver Gregson
Spear’s Review
Oliver Gregson has emerged as Schroders’ new wealth management CEO, responsible for the group’s global wealth strategy. As part of the role, he will oversee Cazenove Capital, Benchmark Capital and Schroders Personal Wealth in the UK, and sit on the group executive committee.
Of his appointment, Gregson said: ‘I have long admired this firm – its culture, its legacy and, most importantly, its deep commitment to clients. It is a privilege to now lead a business with a remarkable heritage of over 220 years, rooted in family values, and backed by the world-class investment capabilities of Schroders.’
Prior to joining Schroders in 2025, Gregson served as the head of the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands desks for J.P. Morgan Private Bank for nearly a decade. Known in the industry as a canny operator, well respected by his peers and ‘highly recommended’ by one veteran banker, Gregson also held senior roles in Barclays’ private client division, and at UBS, HSBC and Citi.
Equipped with more than 20 years of experience in private wealth, Gregson will surely steer Schroders into a new era of growth.
