Dina de Angelo

Spear’s Review

Dina de Angelo grew up in the US, beginning her wealth management career there at the Bessemer Trust before being posted to the United Kingdom to spearhead its international work. She is now a managing director at Pictet, leading a team that advises complex multinational clients.

As one of the firm’s most senior female executives, de Angelo is a frequent commentator on issues around women and wealth. In her experience, ‘Women are very curious investors, and they like to understand what they’re investing in.’

At Pictet, she mentors junior bankers and helped launch the firm’s senior women’s private banking network in 2019. 

She tells Spear’s that ‘private banking is a wonderful career for women’, and that ‘it plays to all of our strengths – relationship-driven, strong communication skills, strong investment skills, instinct, creativity’.
