Spear’s Review

Dina de Angelo grew up in the US, beginning her wealth management career there at the Bessemer Trust before being posted to the United Kingdom to spearhead its international work. After a stint working for Rothschild & Co’s international private client division, de Angelo moved to Pictet. She now leads the UK and Irish initiative within the bank, which is ‘growing incredibly’.

As one of Pictet’s most senior female executives, de Angelo is a frequent commentator on next-gen issues and women in wealth. She actively mentors several younger team members at Pictet and helped launch the firm’s Senior Women’s Private Banking Network in 2019. She believes that ‘private banking is a wonderful career for women’, and that ‘it plays to all of our strengths – relationship-driven, strong communications skills, strong investment skills, instinct, creativity’.
