Edward Campbell-Johnston

Spear’s Review

Edward Campbell-Johnston’s objective is to ‘preserve and enhance the long-term real capital value of each client’s investable wealth via the application of a distinct global and thematic investment process’. Communication lies at the heart of what he does, he says, arguing that without it ‘trust cannot be established and maintained, suitability cannot be guaranteed, and transparency is not assured’.

Campbell-Johnston joined the firm as an investment manager in 1996, and works with clients ranging from HNW individuals to charities and trusts. He also heads the alternative investment market (AIM) inheritance tax-sheltered strategy, guiding families on the intricacies of passing wealth to the next generation.

Sarasin & Partners seeks to forge long-term relationships with clients, facilitated by staff retention, a partnership structure that it says ensures alignment of client interests with those of the firm, and the quality of its reports.
