Spear’s Review

Dr Chris Rutkowski is a consultant allergist at OneWelbeck’s skin health and allergy unit. He has expertise in all types of allergy care, including food allergies, eczema, hay fever, drug allergies, hives and angioedema. 

Under his care, patients have access to skin prick, intradermal and molecular allergy testing alongside treatments that include desensitisation therapy and medicines such as omalizumab for severe hives.

Rutkowski is president of the Clinical Immunology and Allergy Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and frequently lectures on allergy medicine.
