Professor Julian Teare is a consultant gastroenterologist at OneWelbeck, also serving as medical director and chairman of its digestive health centre. 

Teare’s focus is on disorders of the gut, colonoscopy, colon cancer screenings, abdominal pain and inflammatory bowel disease. He is also a specialist in interventional therapies for obesity-related type 2 diabetes.

Teare describes the OneWelbeck clinic experience as ‘so much better’ than private hospital alternatives. ‘The facility was created to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for any client, especially HNWs,’ he says.

He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology and a lecturer at Imperial College London's school of medicine, teaching both students as well as qualified doctors continuing their education.
