A specialist in modern and contemporary Middle Eastern art at Christie’s in Dubai, Suzy Sikorski works across commercial and curatorial projects between Dubai and London, particularly focusing on works from the Arab and Iranian worlds.

Sikorski also builds auctions and conducts private sales and valuations in the UAE. Her career in the region began during her time as a Fulbright scholar, when she was funded to document the UAE’s art landscape. After spending more than a year interviewing local artists, often in their homes and studios, and volunteering at local galleries, her passion for the country – and its artwork – grew into an opportunity at the revered auction house. 

Now her focus lies in supporting Middle Eastern art and buyers. She has previously told the press that she ‘would also like to encourage more females to enter the art market from the Middle East and continue to be a champion of female Arab artists’.
