Daniel Coombes’ cases typically have an international element, and involve complex financial transactions or children work. His clientele comprises senior business executives and media figures – including actors and those in the public eye – for whom Coombes recognises that utmost discretion is paramount. 

Asked what attracted him to family law, he says, ‘It’s not just a file in a filing cabinet; these are people. Not only those parties, but any children they have, and also parents, siblings, the wider family. Whenever a couple separates, it really does impact everybody around them, and it spreads further and further. So I think we all have a duty to help that couple sort things out in the best way that we can.’

Coombes is something of a veteran of Family Law in Partnership, with two decades of service at the firm. Over this time, he has developed a reputation for both his tenacity and his technical and analytical prowess. He is a member of Resolution and is a trained mediator.
