He specialises in company and trust law in the Isle of Man and the British Virgin Islands, and is a director and corporate trustee of a number of companies. He also advises on acquisitions for private collections of works of art.
On the Isle of Man, Bird, who joined Stonehage when it acquired Maitland in 2021, works primarily with private clients and family offices. He is a notary public on the Isle of Man and admitted to practice in South Africa, England and Wales, and the British Virgin Islands.
