Nick Pheasey is an experienced partner who leads KPMG’s family office and private client team in the UK.

Based in Manchester, Pheasey serves a clientele that includes HNW entrepreneurs, family businesses and private clients based across the north of England. He typically advises clients on tax matters such as income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning, with a particular focus on M&A transactions.

‘I tend to spend my time with larger, more complex clients who have more complex tax patterns and issues,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘Most clients are or have been owners of large private businesses.’

He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on the issues facing private clients, such as changes to entrepreneurs’ relief, capital gains tax and succession planning.
