Simon Baylis joined the tax team at BDO after its merger with Moore Stephens, where he’d served as partner since 2007. Now based at BDO’s Baker Street office, he brings his nearly three decades of experience in accountancy and tax to advise HNWs on structuring assets in a tax-efficient and tax-friendly manner. 

Baylis’s client pool includes members of HNW families who have large real estate portfolios or assets in other jurisdictions, in addition to families dealing with complex succession and estate planning issues. 

A chartered accountant and tax adviser, Baylis began his career as an auditor before moving into the arena of private wealth at the end of the 1990s.
